Individual programs are highly personalized and focus on our clients becoming more resourceful so that they can respond to leadership and interpersonal challenges more effectively and make the changes they seek for themselves and their organizations.

We partner with our clients and work in 2 main areas:

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Enhancing leadership effectiveness through creating consciousness, building on leaders unique strengths,  developing specific competencies and adopting reflective habits.

LEADERSHIP TRANSITIONS Empowering leaders through challenging points of transition: job change, organizational change, geographical moves, outplacement, first-time leadership.

"The Leadership Circle Profile (TLCP) represents a significant advancement in the state-of-the-art of leadership assessment and development. It is the first competency-based 360 assessment tool to measure behavior at various stages of adult development; to link patterns of action with habits of thought; to organize information into a developmental system based on some of the best theoretical frameworks in the leadership, psychological and spiritual literatures; and to display information in a way that immediately draws attention to the most critical information in the feedback".
Bob Anderson, Founder & CEO The Leadership Circle, The Leadership Circle Profile: Breakthrough Leadership Assessment Technology
We believe that we are made to thrive in community and that meaningful change is best made with input, encouragement and accountability in partnership with others.

In group settings we focus on equipping leaders with the skills needed to make their efforts more impactful.

Our belief in the power of collaboration means that we frequently co-lead together or with other coaching partners.

Individual programs are most effective in combination with an initial 360 evaluation, as it reveals key aspects immediately. We work with The Leadership Circle Profile (TLCP), the most advanced and comprehensive approach to leadership development in the field. It's

More revealing - The only 360 assessment that measures leadership competencies AND ineffective reactive behaviours.

More advanced - Reveals what leaders are doing - why they are doing it and what actions they can take to accelerate leadership effectiveness

Faster and long lasting results - Increases self-awareness about how ones own way of thinking and behaving impacts leadership effectiveness. This is key to achieve trans-formational and lasting change.

More accurate - Percentage scores are compared to a continuously growing norm base (currently 30,000), allowing for a much more accurate interpretation of what the data means.

Easy and practical - All the information is visually integrated in a circle on a single page.

High Statistic Validity - Alpha Scale: 0,9

Directly related to ROI - Results are directly linked to the leader's effect on business results.

The assessment can be repeated after 18 months, showing the increase in effectiveness achieved.
We provide the space for leaders to stop, reflect, reconnect with themselves and respond from a place of choice and personal strength. Our philosophy
"No problem can be solved with the same level of consciousness that created it", Albert Einstein
“Most of the ways we were taught to think, to reason, to understand simply don’t give us the means to make wise decisions anymore... We were not taught how to make sense of a chaotic world.” Meg Wheatley

Cultural Intelligence from Responsive Leadership on Vimeo.

Cultural intelligence (CQ) – the capability to function effectively in culturally diverse  situations – has gained increased attention from global business leaders over the past decade, due to its expanding relevance to globalization, international  leadership, and workforce diversity.

As leaders, we work with people who look, believe and think in radically different ways from us. We experience cross cultural situations every day, in interactions with our team, fellow employees, clients and customers.

Today's leadership success depends on the capability to function effectively in culturally diverse situations.

Benefits

Current research highlights that enhanced cultural intelligence strongly influences cultural adaptation, expatriate performance, leadership effectiveness, intercultural negotiation, and cross-cultural team dynamics. It helps avoid costly misunderstandings, creates strong relationships and equips leaders to be responsive instead of reactive when faced with new cultural challenges.

It's impossible to learn about the many layers of culture we might come into contact with. Cultural Intelligence equips us with a flexible set of tools and skills that allow us to respond effectively in any cultural setting.
  • Learn how to maximize opportunities from diversity to successfully meet clients and business needs.
  • Develop intercultural communication skills for better results with colleagues and clients.
  • Apply tools and frameworks to better understand and adapt to cultural dynamics.
  • Identify personal strategies for developing cultural intelligence.
  • Discover how to deal effectively with conflict situations in cross-cultural encounters.

Our Cultural Intelligence Journey

Starting out on this journey of discovery, we thought we were culturally intelligent and that there was an arrival point or destination to being competent in Cultural Intelligence (CQ). Like many individuals, we come from diverse cultural backgrounds and have been exposed to many cross cultural life and work experiences. However, the more we immerse ourselves in learning about CQ, the more we realize that this is a life long journey of deepening our ability to relate. It takes work, motivation, humility when facing new and surprising interactions, and a determination to keep practicing. Join us on this rewarding and rich learning journey!
