Cultural Intelligence
An essential skill for being effective in your leadership interactions
"The Leadership Circle Profile (TLCP) represents a significant advancement in the state-of-the-art of leadership assessment and development. It is the first competency-based 360 assessment tool to measure behavior at various stages of adult development; to link patterns of action with habits of thought; to organize information into a developmental system based on some of the best theoretical frameworks in the leadership, psychological and spiritual literatures; and to display information in a way that immediately draws attention to the most critical information in the feedback".

"No problem can be solved with the same level of consciousness that created it", Albert Einstein
“Most of the ways we were taught to think, to reason, to understand simply don’t give us the means to make wise decisions anymore... We were not taught how to make sense of a chaotic world.” Meg Wheatley
Cultural
intelligence (CQ) – the capability to function effectively in culturally
diverse situations – has gained increased attention
from global business
leaders
over the past decade, due to its expanding relevance
to globalization, international leadership, and workforce
diversity.
As leaders, we work with people who look, believe and think in radically different ways from us. We experience cross cultural situations every day, in interactions with our team, fellow employees, clients and customers. Today's leadership success depends on the capability to function effectively in culturally diverse situations. |

BenefitsCurrent research highlights that enhanced cultural intelligence strongly influences cultural adaptation, expatriate performance, leadership effectiveness, intercultural negotiation, and cross-cultural team dynamics. It helps avoid costly misunderstandings, creates strong relationships and equips leaders to be responsive instead of reactive when faced with new cultural challenges.
It's impossible to learn about the many layers of culture we might come into contact with. Cultural Intelligence equips us with a flexible set of tools and skills that allow us to respond effectively in any cultural setting. |
